DSI Launches Phase 2 of a New Intranet-based EPS for Leading
Healthcare Organisation

(Cork, Ireland ) DeCare Systems Ireland (DSI),
a leading provider of software development and Internet solutions,
announced today the launch of Phase 2 of a new Intranet-based
Electronic Patient System (EPS) for a leading Healthcare Organisation.
Our client is the leading patient treatment
facility in its space and has a unique set of patient management
requirements. Their role is to provide specialist care for
patients and interact with other healthcare stakeholders to
ensure comprehensive lifetime patient management. The DSI
designed and developed .NET based Electronic Patient System
is the system of record for the Healthcare Organisation and
replaces a number of bespoke departmental solutions. The system
implements a role based authentication and authorization model
for every healthcare worker involved in patient management
in the clients multi-disciplinary organisation. This
latest phase of this project provides enhancements to facilitate
the electronic exchange of information with other clinics
and systems within one consistent and intuitive user interface.
Other key features of this release include the assessment
and recording of personal, medical and treatment data for
patients, the tracking of referrals, staff appointments, patients
attendance and report generation facilities.
DSI was chosen by the client to provision
this solution based on its considerable experience in designing
and building secure healthcare applications for clients.
