Quest Software’s comprehensive tool suite is the backbone of DSI’s Java pre-production performance testing methodology process, giving our enterprise clients added confidence in the scalability and performance of our applications.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., March 12, 2007 – Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced the next version of its award-winning JProbe solution, a leading Java product with more than 25,000 existing users. JProbe 7.0 offers enhanced capabilities and reflects Quest’s support of major platform vendors including Sun Microsystems’ latest Java Standard Edition Release, Java SE 6, and IBM Java Virtual Machine (JVM) advanced memory diagnostics.
DeCare Systems Ireland, a developer of Internet and intranet e-business systems, employs JProbe, part of Quest’s Application Assurance Suite, to reduce the number of performance and availability problems. “Today, we are experiencing reduced timelines, measurably higher quality output, and an enhanced ability to deliver complex enterprise-level systems,” said Jason Barry, performance architect at DeCare Systems. “By clearly identifying the key characteristics of our process (e.g., simplicity, productivity and stability), we have seen levels of regression errors decrease by orders of magnitude.”

JProbe 7.0 incorporates the unique features that made earlier versions of JProbe a market leader. JProbe offers automated memory, performance, coverage analysis, and drill-down to line-level of code for faster root cause analysis. It also proactively assesses the completeness and accuracy of test runs in development and QA. In addition, JProbe integrates with Quest’s PerformaSure®, which allows for multi-JVM and multi-tier Java application and portal performance diagnostics, to create the Quest Application Assurance Suite.
