DSI Awarded Framework Agreement to Supply ICT Services to Dublin City Council
(Cork, Ireland) Tuesday, December 04, 2007
- Leading software development and Internet solutions provider, DeCare Systems Ireland (DSI) announced today it has been accredited to supply software development services under Dublin City Council's Framework Agreement for the development of Software Applications.
DSI is approved to provide ICT services under Agreement 1: Design, develop, implement, maintain and support Visual Studio .Net/Sql Server applications. The Microsoft Certified Partner will be one of three organisations capable of supplying development services in this category.
The framework has been designed to simplify government procurement by giving Dublin City Council access to pre-assessed best-of-breed suppliers across a range of solutions and services, reducing the amount of time and resources required during the procurement process. Dublin City Council has a wide range of IT systems to support the five hundred business processes within the organisation.
The Cork based company was awarded the framework agreement based on its proven track record in developing high quality .Net applications for it’s enterprise clients. DSI’s team of experienced Microsoft certified .NET architects, analysts and developers deliver a range of solutions to clients mainly in the insurance, financial services, eCommerce and public sector.
Winning a place on the Framework highlights the increasing commitment to the Irish public sector for DSI. As more local and international software companies collaborate to provide value-add services for the Irish public sector, DSI recently announced their partnership with Quest Software to help public and private sector clients alleviate application performance bottlenecks with their new ‘Performance Tuning for Java Applications’ service.
